Space Maria is a sci-fi action series set in the future, where violent crime and piracy are widespread throughout the galaxy. Spread far too thin to deal with these threats, the galactic government establishes the Space Colony Mercenary Force, enabling enterprising bounty hunters to take the law into their own hands.

As powerful as she is headstrong, veteran mercenary Maria Nova is famous throughout the galaxy as someone who gets the job done, no matter how demanding. Beneath her battle-worn exterior, lies a deep sense of justice, though the ruthless nature of her work often pushes the bounds of her own moral code.

Once an aspiring mechanic, Maria moved from a backwater desert planet to the thriving orbital colony of Granalda to pursue her dreams, only to wind up in a dead-end secretary job.

Maria eventually found her true calling in freelance mercenary work (which is just a fancy way of saying she will do any and all odd jobs). On one of her ambitious hustles, she serendipitously meets Paia “Pi” Cintron, the woman who would become her best friend and partner.

Together, the duo are designated to Mercenary Force Unit 03 and are tasked with action-packed missions to preserve balance throughout the galaxy. Hostage rescue, asset recovery, bounty hunting, and more: Maria and Pi have done it all while leaving a trail of kicked-asses along the way.
